I got the following question in my mailbox today: Hoe heb je CoPilot op je android phone gekregen? Curious to know :-) Let's translate: How did you get CoPilot on your android phone? [Answer] (Answer only applies to countries where you can't get paid applications yet) What I did was, I rooted my HTC Magic, you can get an howto on how to do that at android-dls. There are also less legal ways to get your hands on CoPilot but I won't be describing them here ;-). |

According to this page developers of Android apps can't sell their applications on the Belgian market. Why not? Now I'm missing out on CoPilot Live for Android. :-( |

A few days ago my GPS melted... Well... Yesterday evening I got my new GPS! Ahum... I'll be honest, I ditched my old E61i and got myself an E71 with an internal GPS and I LIKE IT !!!!111!! Teh E71: *clickable*

Today my bluetooth GPS (Holux GPSlim 236) kind of melted. When I arrived at my destination I noticed that my cellphone reported "No GPS Device Found". I was thinking maybe the battery had run flat, no problem! But then when I wanted to put it back into my glove compartment I noticed that my battery was lying next to my GPS device, and was kind of swollen. CRAP! It overheated. So far for good build quality. Where do they think you put your GPS device? In your glove compartment? No! For best performance you put it under your front window(where heat can be a factor from time to time). What will I do now? I don't really know. I could buy a new one, or I could wait until I buy a new cellphone which will probably be the Nokia E71(has an internal GPS chip), to replace my current Nokia E61i. Dillema! |
